Storyline
THE FOUNDER
The company was founded by Elías Mira in 2015. Elías has been active in the fashion business for approximately 30 years, first as a designer, then as a footwear manufacturer, resulting in the creation of his own label.
THE BRAND
As a direct viewer of the mass production shortcomings, and understanding these as a point of initial reference, Elías decided to found the ELIASMIRA label in the early 2015’s.
ELIASMIRA brand was born as a reactionary movement, a positive evolution of consumerism and mass production, moving away from overabundance and repetitive excess, driving towards quality and the pursuit of its shoes integrity. Elías describes this reaction as “Be able to say no”.
Once the use of traditional production techniques is recovered, both design and handcraft merge into a modern and minimalist luxury condition for its shoes, perceptions that are more and more relevant in the world of fashion.
THE SHOES
All ELIASMIRA shoes are entirely handmade, from natural materials from the best selection in Italy and produced in limited quantities in Portugal by a carefully selected group of master craftsmen.
NOWADAYS
ELIASMIRA focuses its success on being a firm of insinuating and distinctive design that is a reference of individuality. The visual sign of the label shows unconventional details, and transgresses the existing limits between design and fashion while maintaining a perfect sense of function and proportion.
